SONOSOLVE
SonoSolve came to NextFab with a need for early design concepts and prototypes of their medical device. The device is a non-invasive way to clear obstructions within catheters using soundwaves. They needed a non-functional prototype that they could show potential clients along with their functional lab prototype.
I met with the client to discuss the use case, their design inspiration, and the future of their product. I developed a number of concept sketches and physical prototypes, and through a series of client meetings and design updates I finalized the design and developed a digital model. I had the model 3D printed, then I painted and polished it. Finally I fit it with a working LED light that lit when the power switch was turned on.
